He: דוד, יעל ואבי מגיעים לשוק הכרמל בבוקר שישי.
En: David, Yael, and Avi arrive at the Carmel Market on Friday morning.

He: הרחוב מלא באנשים ויותר יפה צבעוני מרקמות.
En: The street is full of people and more colorful than a tapestry.

He: "רוצים להתחיל עם הפירות?
En: "Do you want to start with the fruits?"

He: " שואלת יעל בחיוך.
En: asks Yael with a smile.

He: דוד מסכים ומוביל אותם לדוכן עם אבטיחים אדומים וענבים ירוקים.
En: David agrees and leads them to a stall with red watermelons and green grapes.

He: "האבטיח נראה מאוד טעים," הוא אומר.
En: "The watermelon looks really tasty," he says.

He: "אמא שלי אוהבת ענבים," אומר אבי ובוחר חבילה.
En: "My mother loves grapes," says Avi, picking a pack.

En: Afterwards, they move to the vegetable stand.

En: Yael notices shiny red tomatoes and puts a few in her basket.

En: "Avi, pick some peppers," Yael requests.

En: Avi chooses peppers in green, yellow, and red.

He: "דוד, נלך לעשבי תיבול?
En: "David, shall we go to the herbs?"

He: "דוד מחייך ולוקח את החברים לדוכן עם ריחות נעימים של כוסברה ופטרוזיליה.
En: David smiles and takes his friends to a stall with the pleasant smells of cilantro and parsley.

He: "אמא שלי מכינה את הסלט הכי טוב עם כוסברה," הוא אומר בגאווה.
En: "My mother makes the best salad with cilantro," he says proudly.

He: השלושה כבר עם סלים מלאים, אבל יעל זוכרת משהו.
En: The three of them already have full baskets, but Yael remembers something.

He: "אנחנו צריכים לחם לשבת," היא מזכירה.
En: "We need bread for Shabbat," she reminds.

He: השלושה הולכים לדוכן לחמים ומוצאים חלות גדולות וזהובות.
En: The three go to the bread stall and find large, golden challahs.

He: "האמא שלי תמיד אומרת שחלה זה לב השולחן בשבת," אומר אבי בקול רך.
En: "My mom always says challah is the heart of the Shabbat table," says Avi softly.

He: דוד בוחר שתי חלות ותמיד חושב על שבת רגועה עם כל ההכנות.
En: David chooses two challahs while thinking about a calm Shabbat with all the preparations.

He: פתאום הם שומעים קול חזק: "דוד!
En: Suddenly, they hear a loud voice: "David!

He: יעל!
En: Yael!

He: אבי!
En: Avi!"

He: "הם מביטים ורואים את אבי, אביה של יעל, מגיע במהירות.
En: They look and see Yael's father, Avi, approaching quickly.

He: "חשבתי שאני אמצא אתכם כאן," הוא אומר.
En: "I thought I'd find you here," he says.

He: "גם אני צריך כמה דברים לשבת.
En: "I also need a few things for Shabbat."

He: "ברגע שהם מסיימים את הקניות, הם נעמדים יחד ומביטים על השוק המלא חיים מסביבם.
En: Once they finish their shopping, they stand together and look at the lively market around them.

He: "שבת שלום!
En: "Shabbat Shalom!"

He: " קורא דוד.
En: calls David.

He: "שבת שלום!
En: "Shabbat Shalom!"

He: " חוזרים כל היתר בחיוכים.
En: everyone else echoes with smiles.

He: יום שישי בשוק הכרמל תמיד מלא חיים, והפעם השלושה קיבלו גם חוויות וגם מצרכים לשבת מושלמת.
En: Friday at the Carmel Market is always full of life, and this time the three gained both experiences and supplies for a perfect Shabbat.
