Lt: Nuo vaikystės Marius domėjosi istorija, todėl kiekvienas akmuo jam pasakojo savitą praeities pasaką.

Lt: Netrukus jie pasiekė Gedimino bokštą ir apsidairė po mistiškąją apylinkę.

Lt: Tik tuomet Marius pastebėjo vienišą figūrą stovinčią ne toli nuo jų.

Lt: Tai buvo žmogaus dydžio statula, tačiau saulės šviesoje ji atrodė itin gyviška.
En: It was a human-sized statue, but in the sunlight, it looked remarkably lifelike.

Lt: Marius, pakliūdamas į istorijos pasaulį, visiškai pamiršo aplinkui esančius draugus ir sužavėtas iš arti pažiūrėti į statulą, netyčia pradėjo su ja pokalbį.
En: Caught up in the world of history, Marius completely forgot about his friends and, captivated by a close look at the statue, accidentally began to have a conversation with it.

Lt: „Labas, drauge!
En: "Hello, companion!

Lt: Turbūt esi čia jau nuo senų senovės, ar ne?
En: You must have been here since ancient times, haven't you?

Lt: Ką turėtum man papasakoti apie šią vietą?
En: What can you tell me about this place?"

Lt: “ – tarė Marius, manantis, kad figūra yra gyvas žmogus.
En: Marius said, thinking the figure was a living person.

Lt: Giedrė ir Vytautas, pamatę savo draugą kalbantį su statula, pradėjo juoktis neįstengdami patikėti tuo, ką mata.
En: Seeing their friend talking to the statue, Giedrė and Vytautas started laughing, unable to believe what they were seeing.

Lt: Jie paslėpė šypsenas už rankų, bet jaučiantys smalsumą leido Mariui tęsti savo „pokalbį“.
En: They hid their smiles behind their hands, but their curiosity allowed Marius to continue his "conversation."

Lt: Marius, vis dar nežinodamas apie savo klaidą, toliau klausiavo: „Kodėl man neatrodo, kad esi linkęs kalbėti?
En: Unaware of his mistake, Marius continued to ask, "Why do you not seem inclined to speak to me?

Lt: Galbūt esi labai senas ir pavargęs?
En: Perhaps you are very old and tired?"

Lt: "Galiausiai, Giedrė neištvėrė ir priėjusi prie Mario tarė: „Marius, ši 'asmenybė' tavęs neišgirs, nes tai yra statula!
En: Finally, Giedrė couldn't hold back and approached Marius, saying, "Marius, this 'person' won't hear you, because it's a statue!

Lt: Ar tu rimtai manei, kad tai tikras žmogus?
En: Did you seriously think it was a real person?"

Lt: “Marius pasidaro raudonas kaip burbulas ir sušunka iš juoko pajusdamas savo klaidą.
En: Turning red as a bubble, Marius burst into laughter, realizing his mistake.

Lt: Jis pasišaipė iš savęs, bet tuo pačiu metu dėkojo savo draugams, nes diena tapo linksmesnė.
En: He made fun of himself, but at the same time, thanked his friends because the day became more enjoyable.

Lt: Pasijuokę visi apžiūrėjo statulą ir pagyrė jos išvaizdą, o vėliau kartu patyrė Gedimino bokšto grožį.
En: After a good laugh, they all admired the statue and praised its appearance, then went on to experience the beauty of Gediminas Tower together.

Lt: Marius, nors ir buvo pagautas juokingoje situacijoje, džiaugėsi, kad turi tokie šaunus draugus kaip Giedrė ir Vytautas, kurie prajuokino jį, bet ir padėjo jaustis laimingam.
En: Despite finding himself in a funny situation, Marius was glad to have such great friends as Giedrė and Vytautas, who both made fun of him and helped him feel happy.

Lt: Pabuvoję priešakiniame Vilniaus bokšte, jie leidosi žemyn, pilni nuostabių įspūdžių ir naujų anekdotų, kurie ilgam išliks jų atmintyje.
En: After lingering near the Vilnius Tower, they descended, full of wonderful impressions and new anecdotes that would stay with them for a long time.

Lt: Ir nors diena prasidėjo nuotykiu su „pokalbiu“ prie statulos, ji baigėsi tvirtesne draugyste ir dar viena linksmu prisiminimu jų nuotykių knygoje.
