Hu: A nap felkelte után Béla és a jó barátja, Zsófia együttesen döntöttek, hogy meglátogatják a Budapest szívében található termálfürdőt. Mindkettőjüknek szükség volt a pihenésre és a szórakozásra a rohanó napjaik után. A fürdőben jól szórakoztak, amíg bele nem ütköztek a csúszdába.
En: After waking up, Béla and his good friend, Zsófia, decided to visit the thermal baths located in the heart of Budapest. Both of them needed some rest and relaxation after their busy days. They had a great time at the baths until they ran into the slide.

Hu: Egy termálfürdőben semmit sem várnak többet, mint az a pillanat, amikor a csúszda végén belecsobbanunk a meleg vízbe. De ezúttal a várt perc sosem jött el Bélára és Zsófiára. Az utolsó kanyarában a csúszda megszakadt és megállt. Beleakadtak, és nem tudtak kiszabadulni.
En: In a thermal bath, nothing is anticipated more than the moment when we splash into the warm water at the end of the slide. But this time, the expected moment never came for Béla and Zsófia. In the final turn, the slide broke and stopped. They got stuck and couldn't free themselves.

Hu: A két barát, akiket most szorongás fogott el, hívást indított a fürdő személyzetéhez. Egyetlen telefon sem érkezett vissza. A személyzet észrevették ugyan a két embert a monitorokon, de nemj tudták, miféle helyzetbe kerülhettek.
En: The two friends, overcome by anxiety, called for help from the bath personnel. No response came to their calls. The staff did notice the two individuals on the monitors, but they couldn't comprehend the situation they were in.

Hu: Ekkor jött képbe a hősnk, László, aki a fürdő rugalmas és gyors gondolkodású biztonsági őre volt. Tájékoztatták a helyzetről, és azonnal tett egy merész tervet a barátok kimentésére. A fürdő mentőcsapatával együttműködve, László megkísérelt felmászni a csúszdára, hogy megmentse Bélát és Zsófiát.
En: That's when our hero, László, came into the picture. He was the flexible and quick-thinking security guard of the bath. Informed about the situation, he immediately devised a bold plan for rescuing the friends. Collaborating with the bath rescue team, László attempted to climb up the slide to save Béla and Zsófia.

Hu: Az idő lassú volt, mintha órák teltek volna el, miközben László végigcsúszott a csúszdán, de az emberi élet gyakran függ századmásodpercekben mérhető döntésektől.
En: Time seemed to slow down, as if hours had passed, while László slid down the slide. But human life often depends on decisions that can be measured in milliseconds.

Hu: Végül László eléjük ért, és egy erős kötéllel hozzájuk kötözte őket. A mentőcsapat a kötelet használva tudta őket kihúzni a csúszdából.
En: Finally, László reached them and securely tied them with a strong rope. Using the rope, the rescue team was able to pull them out of the slide.

Hu: Fellélegeztek. Életben voltak. Megmentve. Boldogan álltak ott, mélyen lélegezve, értékelve a világ valódi szépségét a napfényben. Egy suttogó köszönettel, néztek rá Lászlóra, aki éppen a nap hősévé vált.

Hu: A novella véget érve a szereplőink továbbra is élvezik a termálfürdő jelentette örömöket, de nagyobb óvatossággal. Tudták, vicces lesz a csúszda történetét visszaadni a barátaiknak, de még fontosabb, hogy mindannyian jól vannak. Ez volt a valódi üzenet: az élet drága, törékeny és gyönyörű – olyan ajándék, amit nem szabad könnyen elmismásolni.
En: As the short story came to an end, our characters continued to enjoy the pleasures of the thermal baths, but with greater caution. They knew it would be funny to retell the slide adventure to their friends, but more importantly, they were all safe and sound.
