En: Mikko smiled and took out his camera.

Fi: "Otetaan kuvia myöhemmin. Mennään nyt kävelemään."
En: “We'll take pictures later. Let’s go for a walk now.”

Fi: He kävelivät kauniilla poluilla ja katselivat vanhoja rakennuksia.
En: They walked along the beautiful paths and looked at the old buildings.

Fi: Aurinko paistoi kirkkaasti, mutta yhtäkkiä taivas alkoi tummua.
En: The sun was shining brightly, but suddenly the sky began to darken.

Fi: "Mikä tuo ääni on?", Mikko kysyi huolestuneena.
En: “What’s that sound?” Mikko asked worriedly.

Fi: Leena katsoi taivaalle ja näki mustat pilvet.
En: Leena looked up at the sky and saw black clouds.

Fi: "Se on ukkonen. Meidän pitäisi löytää suoja."
En: “It’s thunder. We should find shelter.”

Fi: Mikko nyökkäsi ja juoksi lähimpään rakennukseen Leenan kanssa.
En: Mikko nodded and ran to the nearest building with Leena.

Fi: Tuuli alkoi puhaltaa voimakkaasti ja sade iski ikkunoihin.
En: The wind started to blow fiercely, and rain pounded on the windows.

Fi: "Olemme jumissa täällä", Leena sanoi hiljaa.
En: “We’re stuck here,” Leena said quietly.

Fi: Mikko katsoi ulos ikkunasta ja mutisi: "Tämä on paha myrsky."
En: Mikko looked out the window and muttered, “This is a bad storm.”

En: They sat in silence for a long time.

En: “When I was a child, I got lost in the forest during a storm.

Fi: Olin niin peloissani.
En: I was so scared.

Fi: Löysin hylätyn mökin ja piilouduin sinne, kunnes vanhempani löysivät minut."
En: I found an abandoned cabin and hid there until my parents found me.”

Fi: "Se kuulostaa pelottavalta", Mikko sanoi myötätuntoisesti.
En: “That sounds terrifying,” Mikko said sympathetically.

Fi: "Mutta sinä selvisit."
En: “But you made it through.”

Fi: Leena hymyili ja katseli ulos sadepisaroiden takaa.
En: Leena smiled and looked out through the raindrops.

Fi: "Niin selvisin.
En: “Yes, I made it through.

Fi: Ja selviämme tästäkin."
En: And we’ll get through this too.”

Fi: Kun myrsky lopulta laantui, he olivat väsyneitä mutta helpottuneita.
En: When the storm finally subsided, they were tired but relieved.

Fi: He lähtivät takaisin lautalle nähden, että taivas oli taas kirkas.
En: They headed back to the ferry, seeing that the sky was clear once again.

Fi: "Viimeinkin", Mikko sanoi hymyssä suin.
En: “At last,” Mikko said with a smile.

Fi: "Jep", Leena vastasi.
En: “Yep,” Leena replied.

Fi: "Olimme yhdessä ja selvisimme."
En: “We were together and we made it.”

Fi: He astelivat lautalle ja katsoivat taakseen Suomenlinnaa.
En: They stepped onto the ferry and looked back at Suomenlinna.

Fi: Se oli ollut pelottava kokemus, mutta myös opettavainen.
En: It had been a frightening experience, but also an educational one.

Fi: Kun laiva lähti liikkeelle, Leena katsoi Mikkoa ja hymyili.
En: As the ship began to move, Leena looked at Mikko and smiled.

Fi: "Juuri tällaista seikkailua elämä joskus tarvitsee."
En: “Sometimes, life needs a bit of adventure like this.”

Fi: Mikko nyökkäsi.
En: Mikko nodded.

Fi: "Se opetti paljon, eikö vain?"
En: “It taught us a lot, didn’t it?”
