Ro: Îmbrăcat cu o cămașă albastră și pantaloni scurți, privirea lui strălucitoare plină de curiozitate, Andrei era gata pentru aventură.

Ro: Andrei, Maria și Adrian se întâlniră în fața Ateneului Român, un loc plin de istorie și cultură, pentru a începe căutarea statuii lui Carol I.

Ro: "Voi merge singur, să văd dacă mă descurc," spuse Andrei cu un zâmbet încăpățânat.

Ro: Maria îl privi suspicios:

Ro: "Ești sigur, Andrei? Orașul e mare și te poți rătăci ușor." Însă Andrei nu voia să audă.

Ro: "Voi fi bine, am telefonul cu mine," răspunse el în timp ce își făcea drum prin mulțime.
En: "I'll be fine, I have my phone with me," he replied as he made his way through the crowd.

Ro: Pe străzi, clădirile vechi îmbrățișau cerul, iar parcurile erau pline de copii care râdeau și alergau.
En: On the streets, the old buildings embraced the sky, and the parks were filled with children laughing and running.

Ro: Andrei își croia drum printre ei, inspirând adânc mireasma florilor proaspete.
En: Andrei made his way through them, inhaling the fresh scent of flowers.

Ro: În timp ce căuta statuia celebra, Andrei ajunse într-o zonă necunoscută.

Ro: Clădirile erau mai înalte și nu mai vedeau copii jucându-se.

Ro: "Trebuie să fiu aproape," își spuse el.

Ro: Dar drumurile păreau să se învârtească într-un dans ciudat, ducându-l mereu în locuri noi.

Ro: Telefoanele nu erau de folos; bateria se terminase, iar harta lui de hârtie era acasă, lăsată pe masa din bucătărie.

Ro: După multe ocolișuri, Andrei auzi sunete de tobe și muzică. Curios, el urmă sunetul până când dădu peste un spectacol vieții.

Ro: Copii alergau fericiti, baloane colorate se ridicau spre nori, și muzica populară invada aerul.

Ro: Timpul părea să stea în loc, dar când soarele începu să coboare spre orizont, Andrei își aminti de prietenii lui îngrijorați.

Ro: "Maria și Adrian trebuie să fie îngrijorați," gândi el.

Ro: Nici măcar nu-și dădu seama că nu mai era singur; alături de el, în mulțime, se afla Maria, cu o mină uimită dar fericită.

Ro: Cu ajutorul unei hărți de la un vânzător de suveniruri, și cu Maria de mână, Andrei se întoarse la Ateneul Român unde Adrian îi aștepta cu un zâmbet larg.

Ro: Deși nu găsise statuia, Andrei descoperise bucuria neprețuită a spontaneității și a prieteniei.
En: Although he hadn't found the statue, Andrei had discovered the priceless joy of spontaneity and friendship.

Ro: Aventura lui prin București se încheie cu râsete și povești, hotărând împreună că următoarea explorare va fi cu siguranță ... împreună.
