Story Transcript:
Ja: 陽子が大阪で大家族に会ったのは久しぶりだった。
En: It had been a long time since Yoko had last seen her extended family in Osaka.

Ja: 育った彼女は、都会の喧騒と親戚の温かいもてなしの話を聞いただけでした。
En: Growing up, she had only heard stories of the hustle and bustle of the city and of the warm hospitality of her relatives.

Ja: 彼女は彼らとの再会を楽しみにしていましたが、少し不安でもありました。
En: She was looking forward to meeting them again but would also feel a little intimidated.

Ja: 彼女が到着したとき、伝統的な家庭料理の暖かさに慰めがあることを彼女はほとんど知りませんでした.
En: Little did she know that when she arrived, she would find solace in the warmth of the traditional house cooking.
