El: Κάτω από τον λαμπερό ήλιο της Αθήνας, τρεις φίλοι, ο Αλέξανδρος, η Ελένη και ο Νίκος, περίμεναν κοντά στην είσοδο της Ακρόπολης.
En: Under the bright sun of Athens, three friends, Alexandros, Eleni, and Nikos, waited near the entrance of the Acropolis.

El: Η μέρα ήταν τέλεια για μια εξερεύνηση.
En: The day was perfect for an exploration.

El: «Αλέξανδρε, ήρθαν οι τουρίστες;» ρώτησε η Ελένη.
En: “Alexandros, have the tourists arrived?” Eleni asked.

El: «Ναι, έρχονται!» απάντησε ο Αλέξανδρος χαμογελώντας.
En: “Yes, they’re coming!” Alexandros replied, smiling.

El: Είχε πάρει θέση ως οδηγός για την ημέρα.
En: He had taken the role of guide for the day.

El: Οι τουρίστες έφτασαν και ο Αλέξανδρος άρχισε: «Καλώς ήρθατε στην Ακρόπολη της Αθήνας!
En: The tourists arrived, and Alexandros began: “Welcome to the Acropolis of Athens!

El: Εδώ η ιστορία ζωντανεύει.
En: Here, history comes to life.

El: Αρχίζουμε με τον Παρθενώνα.»

Η Ελένη παρατήρησε το αρχαίο κτίριο.
En: Let's start with the Parthenon.”

Eleni observed the ancient building.

El: «Είναι τόσο όμορφο,» είπε.
En: “It’s so beautiful,” she said.

El: Ο Νίκος, που αγαπούσε την ιστορία, πρόσθεσε: «Ο Παρθενώνας χτίστηκε τον 5ο αιώνα π.Χ.»

Όσο περπατούσαν, ο Αλέξανδρος μίλησε για τις Καρυάτιδες.
En: Nikos, who loved history, added: “The Parthenon was built in the 5th century BC.”

As they walked, Alexandros spoke about the Caryatids.

El: «Αυτές οι γυναίκες–αγάλματα στήριζαν την οροφή ενός κτιρίου,» εξήγησε.
En: “These women statues supported the roof of a building,” he explained.

El: Οι τουρίστες άκουγαν προσεκτικά.
En: The tourists listened attentively.

El: Στη συνέχεια, ο Νίκος έδειξε την Αγορά της Αρχαίας Αθήνας.
En: Next, Nikos pointed out the Agora of Ancient Athens.

El: «Εδώ ήταν το εμπορικό και πολιτικό κέντρο της πόλης,» είπε με ενθουσιασμό.
En: “This was the commercial and political center of the city,” he said excitedly.

El: Η Ελένη χαμογέλασε και πρόσθεσε: «Εδώ οι αρχαίοι Έλληνες συζητούσαν για φιλοσοφία και πολιτική.»

Σε ένα διάλειμμα, η Ελένη ρώτησε τον Αλέξανδρο για τους αγαπημένους του μύθους της Ακρόπολης.
En: Eleni smiled and added, “Here, ancient Greeks discussed philosophy and politics.”

During a break, Eleni asked Alexandros about his favorite myths of the Acropolis.

El: Αυτός απάντησε: «Μου αρέσει ο μύθος της Αθηνάς και του Ποσειδώνα.
En: He answered, “I like the myth of Athena and Poseidon.

El: Ο αγώνας τους για την προστασία της πόλης έδωσε το όνομά της στην Αθήνα.»

Όταν τελείωσαν την ξενάγηση, ένας τουρίστας ρώτησε: «Πού μπορούμε να βρούμε περισσότερες πληροφορίες;»

Ο Αλέξανδρος χαμογέλασε και απάντησε: «Στο Μουσείο της Ακρόπολης.
En: Their contest for the protection of the city gave Athens its name.”

When the tour was over, a tourist asked, “Where can we find more information?”

Alexandros smiled and replied, “At the Acropolis Museum.

El: Επιπλέον, μπορείτε να διαβάσετε βιβλία και να δείτε ντοκιμαντέρ.»

Ο ήλιος άρχιζε να δύει και έδωσε μια μαγευτική λάμψη στους αρχαίους ναούς.
En: Additionally, you can read books and watch documentaries.”

The sun began to set, giving a magical glow to the ancient temples.

El: Οι τουρίστες ευχαρίστησαν τον Αλέξανδρο.
En: The tourists thanked Alexandros.

El: Ο Νίκος και η Ελένη έδωσαν συγχαρητήρια στον φίλο τους.
En: Nikos and Eleni congratulated their friend.

El: «Ήταν μια υπέροχη μέρα,» είπε ο Νίκος.
En: “It was a wonderful day,” Nikos said.

El: «Ναι, μάθαμε πολλά και διασκεδάσαμε,» πρόσθεσε η Ελένη.
En: “Yes, we learned a lot and had fun,” Eleni added.

El: Οι τρεις φίλοι κοιτούσαν τον Παρθενώνα και ένιωσαν περηφάνια για την ιστορία τους.
En: The three friends looked at the Parthenon and felt proud of their history.

El: Με μια ματιά γεμάτη υπόσχεση για νέες περιπέτειες, αποχαιρέτησαν την Ακρόπολη και κατευθύνθηκαν προς το σπίτι, γεμάτοι όμορφες αναμνήσεις.
En: With a look full of promise for new adventures, they said goodbye to the Acropolis and headed home, filled with beautiful memories.
