Lt: Lukas nenorėjo būti nelinksmažodis – juk toks meno atlikimas nusipelno paskatinimo.

Lt: Jis švelniai įsidėjo kelias monetas į atlikėjo šalį, tikėdamasis, kad šis nustebins jį judesiu ar bent žvilgsniu.
En: He gently placed a few coins into the performer's hand, hoping that he would be surprised by a movement or at least a glance.

Lt: Tačiau nieko nepasikeitė.
En: However, nothing changed.

Lt: Agnė, stebėdama Luką, susilaikė šypsodama.

Lt: Ji greitai suprato, kad tai ne atlikėjas, o tiesiog vienas iš daugelio paminklų, pasakojančių Lietuvos istoriją.

Lt: ”Lukas iš pradžių sujuko, bet tada jie abu puolė iš juoko.
En: At first, Lukas was embarrassed, but then they both burst into laughter.

Lt: Nors jam šiek tiek gėda, jis žavėjosi, kaip prabangiai ir tikroviškai buvo atkurta praeitis.
En: Though he felt a little embarrassed, he was fascinated by how richly and realistically the past had been recreated.

Lt: Jis mokėjosi iš savo klaidos ir pradėjo labiau domėtis istorijos detalėmis, kartu su Agne išklausydamas gidės pasakojimą apie bokštą.

Lt: Šis nuotykis Gedimino pilyje tapo vienu iš jų mėgstamiausių istorijų, kurią jie mielai pasakojo draugams, atspausdinę abiejų bendrą nuotrauką su statula, kuri visam laikui išliko jų atmintyje.

Lt: Ir nors Lukas šiek tiek gailėjosi išleistų monetų, jis suvokė, kad gavo vertingą pamoką: kartais praeitis gali būti artimesnė ir gyvesnė, nei manome.
En: And though Lukas regretted spending the coins a bit, he realized that he received a valuable lesson: sometimes the past can be closer and more vivid than we think.
