Ja: サトシは、絹の商人と交渉しようとしますが、近くに立っている女性、ユキに気を取られてしまいます。
En: Satoshi tries to negotiate with a silk merchant but finds himself distracted by a woman standing nearby, Yuki.

Ja: ユキは優れた織り手で、サトシは彼女を密かに敬愛していました。
En: Yuki is an excellent weaver, and Satoshi secretly admires her.

Ja: しかし、彼の心の中では「絹を買わなければ家族を失望させてしまう」と思っています。

En: His knowledge astonishes the merchant, and ultimately, he's able to acquire the finest silk under favorable conditions.

Ja: その様子を見ていたユキは、サトシに微笑みかけます。
En: Seeing this, Yuki smiles at Satoshi.
